FutureBrand plan for Molton Brown Spa

FutureBrand is creating the interiors for a spa centre at Heathrow airport. The “well-being” centre, which opens next month, is a joint venture between cosmetics group Molton Brown and British Airways.

Molton Brown Travel Spa will offer British Airways’ first and club-class passengers the opportunity to relax and revitalise before take-off, free of charge.

Visitors will be able to sleep or have pick-me-up treatments from trained relaxation experts.

“We want to provide therapeutic spaces that make good use of people’s limited time at the airport,” says Molton Brown marketing director Charles Denton. “The travel spas will help to steady passengers’ nerves or give them a pre-flight boost.”

A second Molton Brown Travel Spa will open at New York’s JFK airport in July.

Meanwhile, FutureBrand has created the interiors for two Molton Brown retail outlets in Glasgow and the City of London. Four existing mini spas, in London, Glasgow and Manchester, were designed by Brighton group Genetic Design.
