Interbrand tops design group brands

Interbrand has been rated the most recognised and trusted of the UK’s design group brands, according to the latest Superbrands rankings.

The consultancy is placed 235th, ahead of Omnicom stablemate Wolff Olins at 275th, and higher than rivals FutureBrand and Landor Associates at 447th and 450th respectively. Design Week features at 469th, just below its parent Centaur Media at 459th.

Business Superbrands is compiled from two sets of ‘intuitive’ scores – one by a council of experts and another by 1500 business executives – based on perceptions of a brand’s quality, reliability and distinction. The lists are combined to create the top 500, this year topped by the BBC.

The council included Enterprise IG chief executive John Mathers, although the consultancy does not feature in the list.
