TV Danmark’s new brand identity and graphics package launched on Monday. It is Novocom’s fourth project for SBS Group, which owns the Danish channel. SBS is relaunching all its stations, offering other cable and satellite operations the option to form networks of affiliated channels. ‘The logo is simple and clean, in line with Scandinavian designs,’ says John Ridgway, president and creative director of the Los Angeles outfit. ‘The design team has given the station personality and warmth which reflects its programming,’ he adds.

The largest manufacturer of hospital beds in the US has brought out a new headwall designed by Cincinnati group Libby Perszyk Kathman. Headwalls are used to organise equipment and supplies while providing outlets for power, oxygen and other services for acutely ill patients. Designed to cut patient care costs, LPK’s system uses soft shapes and powder-coat painted metal for a less clinical feel. Hill-Rom is marketing its Integris 2000 Headwall System worldwide. Better known for packaging, LPK hopes to expand its industrial division since buying an industrial design company last year.
