Six shortlisted candidates, described as hailing from education and outside the industry backgrounds as well as advertising and design, have second interviews next week for the vacant role of British Design & Art Direction chief executive.

An appointment is expected by the end of May.
The D&AD committee and chairman Anthony Simonds-Gooding are overseeing the selection panel. D&AD membership director Marcelle Johnson is currently acting chief executive.
