Never mind the breed,it’s colour that counts

With regard to Scottish Pet Insurance’s new corporate identity by EH6 of Edinburgh (DW 21 July), I would like to point out that the logo is actually of a Scottish terrier and not, as stated, a West Highland terrier. It would be fairly easy to confuse the two breeds were it not for the fact that a Scottish terrier is black and a West Highland terrier is white. After serious consultation with my own Scottish terrier, Dugald, I have been reliably informed that his breed is by far the most good-looking and intelligent of the two.
