Imagination tackles Land Rover

Imagination has won a four-way pitch to design global exhibition stands for famous UK brand Land Rover, the off-road vehicle manufacturing company now owned by existing Imagination client Ford.

The project will include graphic design, show production and the strategic direction of the architecture employed for displays.

The London consultancy was invited to join the pitch list on the basis of its previous work for motoring giant Ford, but had to compete against unnamed rivals for the job, says an Imagination spokeswoman.

The group responded by producing an A3 book which aimed to capture the essence of the Land Rover brand. It also included dramatic proposals for the company’s future direction.

The first appearance of the new-look stands will be at the Birmingham Motor Show at the National Exhibition Centre in October. They will also be seen at the later Detroit show in January next year.
