Different and NE6 to style Dott 07

Dott 07, the first of a ten-year series of regional design events, has appointed Different and NE6 to handle its creative communications work.

Different has been signed up as the programme’s lead creative consultancy and will interpret and deliver the overall marketing plan. NE6 will work on specific design projects, including materials for the Eco Design Challenge, which launches in September 2006.

The two consultancies were chosen following a national credentials tender, according to Robert O’Dowd, executive producer of the event.

Dott 07 takes place across the North East of England as a partnership between the Design Council and Regional Development Agency One NorthEast. The location of the 2009 event is yet to be confirmed, according to a spokeswoman for the Design Council.
