Landini Associates sets In Your Face scene

An exhibition of graphics by 16 designers, designed by Landini Associates, opens this week in Sydney, Australia.

The Australian design group has just put the finishing touches to the showcase – called In Your Face: Contemporary Graphic Design – as part of the Sydney Design 06 festival, which opened in the city last week and runs until 20 August.

Landini Associates’ British founder Mark Landini says the exhibition aims to capture the particular essence and wit of contemporary Australian creative work. ‘We have turned it around at breakneck speed in just four weeks,’ says Landini.

As well as graphics work spanning posters, books, billboards, comics and magazine design, the exhibition also encompasses digital media, animation, music-video and Web design. Designers exhibiting include: Frost Design, Deuce Design, Josh Roelink, 3 Deep Design and Chris O’Doherty.
