In Conversation with Michael Clegg and Martin Guttmann, 12 August, is led by artist, curator and lecturer Dave Beech, who will take the duo’s current exhibition on public and institutional space as a starting point for discussion.

The Modern Shop: Architecture and Shopping between the Wars, explores how design was used by shops as a marketing tool in the 1920s and 1930s. The exhibition forms the basis for a discussion, led by curator Eleanor Gawne of the British Architectural Library, on 15 August.
