British Industrial Graphics, which produces facias and trim for cars, domestic appliances and navigation equipment, has introduced a new identity.
Created by Looker Design & Advertising, the logo is intended to help BIG, which is based near Oxford, reinforce its position in existing markets and win business in new sectors. The Tunbridge Wells design consultancy first worked on the company’s brochure and the identity job grew out of that project.
The new marque is intended to communicate BIG’s qualities of innovation, creativity, and the ability to offer a high level of design input into a project which will, in turn, make the end product stand out from the crowd, says Looker Design managing director Gareth Looker.
The identity also appears on stationery, order forms and advertising, and may eventually be applied to signage.
