International brand specialist Identica has rebranded and designed a new site for e-commerce company OneSwoop.com, which facilitates the purchase of new cars from continental Europe for prices significantly below those in Britain. The move follows the announcement that ferry operator P&O is to embark on a similar import venture.
The site will be launched in the UK on Wednesday and then across Europe during the next few weeks. OneSwoop.com believes its site will be the first in the UK to allow car buyers to complete their entire purchase transaction from their desktops, unlike existing sites that direct consumers to UK dealers.
Identica creative director of new media Carole Laugier says: “It is vital for all ‘.com’ businesses that we create a brand and corresponding interactive experience as a meaningful reflection of the brand values.
“We changed the colour system for a friendlier outlook, making it more approachable for customers. A specially created iconographic language will facilitate the navigation on-site for customers who are not very on-line literate.”
