In The City

The book, In the City, is photographer Edward Barber’s black and white documentary of London’s Square Mile. The book was designed by Citigate Lloyd Northover. Barber uses a large format plate camera to make portraits that reveal people in immaculate detail, regardless of their status. ‘The book is a unique project… with beautiful images that portray the people of the City at a critical moment in its evolution,’ says Citigate Lloyd Northover’s design director Martin Skeet.
