Manchester design consultancy Montage Bridgewater Barron is developing a new identity for Oldham bedding manufacturer Trendsetter Home Furnishings.
Trendsetter, traditionally a supplier of own-brand duvets and pillows to retailers such as Marks & Spencer, Habitat, House of Fraser and John Lewis Partnership, is looking to expand its own branded product ranges.
The company will be relaunched as The Fine Bedding Company in a radical transformation, according to MBB director Philip Armitage.
“The bulk of Trendsetter’s business is own-label products, so branding has not been too important. But the company sees it as terribly important to move forward to reflect its growing market status,” he adds.
MBB will also handle packaging, point-of-sale material and advertising for the group.
