Illustrator Andrew Davidson has been brought in by Manchester group Germ to create posters to promote the Flying Scotsman’s journeys. Davidson pays homage to 1920s and 1930s railway art, says Germ creative director David Barraclough. ‘We wanted to bring back the romance of the Golden Age of Steam, so Andrew was the perfect choice,’ he says.
