Black Dog retains the Christmas cheer with Tesco task win

Black Dog has been appointed to design point-of-sale materials for Tesco’s Christmas campaign.

The consultancy has worked with Tesco for about ten years, and created point-of-sale materials for last year’s Christmas campaign.

Black Dog says it was appointed for this year’s project following a three-way creative pitch last month, beating consultancies Lick Creative and Chen Tsoi Design.

Geoff Cash, managing director of Black Dog, says, ’We’re starting work on it straight away – there are hundreds of artworks, used on everything from TV to national press, so it’s quite a big job for us.’

  • P&W has designed a new packaging range for Tesco Standard Plus Cakes (pictured below) featuring hand-drawn illustrations inspired by cake-shop chalkboards to give a ’boutique’ feel.
