Music listening project tunes up with look by Sarah Boris

The identity for Hear Here, a classical music event programme focusing on listening, has been created by typographic designer Sarah Boris.

The classical music listening project – presented by The Royal Philharmonic Society, together with Classic FM radio – consists of a series of events that aim to encourage people to listen to classical music.

Boris was appointed in November 2007 by Hear Here, following her rebrand for the RPS last year.

The Hear Here logo uses an AG Book Rounded font, and will be unveiled tomorrow at the first Hear Here debate at the Royal Festival Hall, London. The colour scheme is bright red, in keeping with the colours used by the Classic FM and RPS brands.

She says, ‘I wanted the font to give the feeling of friendliness, to re-attract the audience to classical music.’
