Never mind the quality, where’s the quantity?

Peter Godkin (Letters, DW 4 January) clearly misunderstood my very clear point about students receiving minimal teaching (Letters, DW 6 December).

The point I was trying to make was not about quality, but about quantity. Ask any graphic design tutor or student about allocated teaching hours.
