The AIDS and Housing Project charity is being relaunched with a new name, Health & Housing, and an identity created by London consultancy Ico Design.

The original brief was to revamp the AHP’s look, but the charity had widened its role to working with groups of people with a range of long-term illnesses and not just HIV and AIDS.

The charity also needed to be identified as a consultant and not as a provider of housing or healthcare.

Appointed after a credentials pitch, Ico Design suggested the new name and a strapline, Making the link. The identity uses an oversized ampersand to draw the words health and housing together, as the organisation acts as the connector between healthcare and housing providers.

Ico Design is now working on an exhibition for the charity.
