Redhouse Lane report is healthy

Redhouse Lane has created a magazine-style annual report for the chief medical officer Sir Liam Donaldson, which aims to make the record of the nation’s health more readable and accessible.

Redhouse Lane creative director Raf Amato says it was important to make the report ‘less of an academic treatise’ and increase its relevance.

Among the issues covered in the current report are passive smoking (spread pictured) and obesity.

‘The recommendations or action points are emphasised through a visual tie, with a cross on the masthead that doubles up as the T for health,’ says Amato.

Meanwhile, Redhouse Lane has also designed annual reports for the Strategic Rail Authority and the DTI’s Office of Science and Technology, both of which will be published before Parliament’s summer recess on 17 July.
