Mr Summerhill, this is your late night wake up call

Who was it who helped a tired John Summerhill of retailer the European Design Centre off the late train at Didcot after an evening of ‘networking’ at Spectrum?

Summerhill had closed his eyes for a second; luckily Mike Hardy from Forza was on the train and roused him at the station. But Summerhill left his case behind, so while Hardy held the door, he went back for it – and sat down.

With Hardy knocking on the window, a kindly fellow passenger gently guided the somewhat sleepy Summerhill on to the platform.

Imagine the surprise and embarrassment when the fog lifted. It was none other than Question Time question master David Dimbleby.
