Howdy makes a splash with droplet logo for Lifehouse

Howdy has worked on the identity, wayfinding and marketing materials for Lifehouse, a health spa situated in the village of Thorpe-le-Soken, in Essex.

The consultancy has been working on the identity since January 2010, following work on the spa’s pre-identity brochure when the building was being constructed, says Howdy partner Sharon Clampin. She says, ’The identity needed to match the spa’s contemporary offer and building with the listed gardens where the spa is located.’

The identity, which launches in May, features a flower-inspired splash shape constructed of six droplets and the spa’s name in a font adapted from ’contemporary and clean’ Gotham, says Clampin.

Howdy has also used the droplet shapes to create illustrated images for the building’s wayfinding, such as water lilies on the spa’s restaurant of the same name.
