Facts of Life by Pippo Lionni is published by Laurence King on 21 May. Lionni uses familiar pictograms on each page to tell a story or make a comment, without recourse to words, on subjects ranging from love, lust and isolation to the use of mobile phones and modern dietary habits. He is founder of Paris design consultancy L Design. The book is priced £9.99.
