Customised denim raises cash for Aids charities

Some 50 of Belgium’s leading designers have customised pieces of denim from fashion brand Evisu to raise money for Aids charities. The collection, which includes a flag, a hat and jewellery, is being auctioned on-line at www.designersdodenim.com and live in Antwerp on 27 May.

Elvis Pompilo has designed a stetson, which has received the highest number of bids so far. Others include Raf Simmons, Lieve van Gorp, Dries Van Noten, Ken Ishii and Angelo Figus. Designersdodenim can be seen at Tomato in London until 13 May.
