WMH shows designers how to get a head….

Congratulations to Williams Murray Hamm for its heroic profile in a certain newspaper supplement last week.

Aside from the shoot-from-the-hip quotes – comparing Nescafe to a ‘dead rat on the road’ and showing autocratic contempt for consumers’ design sense – the best bit was the slightly superstar-DJish antics of the team photo.

With Richard Williams away, the other two made do with a bloke holding his mugshot on a stick. Maybe it’s because we’ve come back from the HMV sale with a £2.99 copy of Dubnobasswithmyheadman, but the overall effect was very Underworld circa 1993 – Richard Murray’s a ringer for Darren Emerson, you know.
