The Work of Charles & Ray Eames will show from 15 September until 3 January 1999. Furniture, buildings, photographs and multimedia from the 1940s to the 1970s will be on show.

South American contemporary artist Fernando Arias displays work at his first British solo exhibition. Arias’ installations employ dangerous and compelling materials to debate difficult subjects. The exhibition runs from 16 September until 18 October.

Artist Joe Magee exhibits work at Reproduction. Using the computer, Magee sets out to produce images and text, repeatedly inserting random mutations, which mimic genetic manipulation. The exhibition runs until 6 October.

The Jerwood Prize for Applied Arts: Glass exhibits the work of eight shortlisted glassmakers. The award is given to an individual judged to have made the most outstanding innovation and contribution to the field in the last five years. The work is on display until 11 October.
