Fishburn Hedges gets rural job

Fishburn Hedges is to design a corporate identity for the forthcoming merger of the Countryside Commission and the Rural Development Commission. The group will also handle all internal and external communications for the agency, which will be launched on 1 April 1999.

Both contracts were awarded after a competitive tendering process, which resulted in a shortlist of three.

Fishburn Hedges director Sue Stapely says: “The current level of interest in countryside issues increases the importance of an independent agency to advise the Government and inform the public. The agency must be clearly branded and launched to meet the needs of all its audiences.”
