The V&A has appointed David Bickle, senior partner at Hawkins\Brown Architects for 21 years, as director of design, exhibitions and FuturePlan. He will be responsible for the care and development of the V&A’s buildings, and the presentation of the museum’s permanent collections and exhibitions.
Interbrand has appointed Damian Ferrar as executive director of brand experience, to be based in the London office. Ferrar joins Interbrand from Elmwood, where he was head of global brand experience. Prior to this, he worked at Imagination.
Chris Forrester has been promoted from commercial director to managing director of Primesight.
Hungry Castle is opening a new office in Dubai. The art collective’s founders Dave Glass and Killian Cooper have teamed up with artist Simon Coates, living and working in Dubai, to develop the new office.
StartJG has appointed Patrick Baglee as executive creative director, while founder director Kevin Gill takes the position of chief executive of StartJG UK. Graham Cox joins as business director and Joanna Jenkins as client development director for key accounts. Louis Clement joins the Barclays account team as creative director.
Big Group has acquired m4, a Newbury-based marketing communications agency which specialises in creative design, digital and 3D retail display for global organisations.
