Design’s royal appointment

Literature and packaging group Hollander Communications denies reports that Sophie Rhys-Jones’ name will be on stationery for its new public relations arm.

Hollander appointed Rhys-Jones – Prince Edward’s girlfriend – for her “extensive experience in public relations”, says general manager Simon Allen. He refuses to comment on reports that Rhys-Jones is being paid 50 000 a year.
