UK fashion retailer Reiss is rolling out an international store expansion, with its first outlet in the Middle East opening in Dubai next month. It has been designed by architect and interior design consultancy Draw Associates.
The design group is also working on a store set to open in September at The Walk, a shopping street development in Edinburgh.
Senior architect Michael Hayward says each store design is approached individually, although the Middle East shopping centre sites will adopt variations of the design that was created for the company’s New York flagship, which opened in March.
Privately owned by founder David Reiss, the retailer operates 35 stores in the British Isles, moving to global markets for the first time with the New York store. It is planning to develop markets in Sweden and Italy and a second NY store is scheduled for March 2006.
