Min Tat moves into Latin America

Minale Tattersfield & Partners has acquired a partner in Latin America, and will open offices in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina in the new year.

Minale Tattersfield & Partners has acquired a partner in Latin America, and will open offices in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Buenos Aires, Argentina in the new year. The new company will trade as Minale Tattersfield, Piaton & Partners.

Jean-Marc Piaton, formerly managing director of Euro RSCG Paris, will head up the South American arm.

The consultancy will specialise in retail and packaging design, and will target the South American energy sector. It will serve existing clients of both Minale Tattersfield and Jean-Marc Piaton in the South American region.

In the UK, associate director Simon Simpson has been made a partner of Minale Tattersfield & Partners. Three senior designers, Paul Astbury, Evelyn Hegi and Paola Porta, have been promoted to associate director level.

The promotions became effective at the end of November.
