It can take a while for a work of art to be appreciated…

I agree with Jason Bruges (Voxpop, DW 27 November). Thomas Heatherwick’s B of the Bang is my favourite piece of public art, too.

It’s a shame that it has been the centre of so many problems, from failings in construction leading to health and safety fears, to financial and legal issues. I hope, despite these, it remains in place until 2300, when the time capsule at its core is opened.
