Plasti-kote’s DIY spray paints range has been given a respray of its own, with a packaging redesign by Ware Anthony Rust. The project was undertaken in order to highlight the brand’s market position and increase its consumer appeal. Consumer research revealed that the previous packaging was seen as industrial, unappealing and confusing – and that women shoppers warm to the creative potential of spray paint, while men like its functional characteristics. The packaging will appear in the UK, Europe and Australia.

Novartis Consumer Health hopes its Options Marshmallow Melts will capture additional customers for the low-calorie drinks sector. The new variety features low-calorie chocolate with floating marshmallow pieces. The packaging, by DJPA Strategic Design, builds on cues from other Options products, but uses a lighter cloud motif.
