Ergo ‘defines’ drugs company

Brand consultancy Ergo has completed a year-long project to relaunch animal pharmaceutical company Grampian, which will now be called Vericore.

Ergo convinced Grampian of the importance of boosting its low-key image after it was unable to obtain any company information about the pharmaceutical group. Ergo creative partner Simon John, who headed the design team, says: “Grampian was seen as a regional or border business. It was also getting confused with other companies. We were asked to create a brand to clearly define where the company was and where it was going.”

The futuristic, multicoloured logo was designed by Ergo’s six-strong creative team, which has also developed a comprehensive brand strategy.
