Dragon dishes up fresh pack for Buitoni

Italian pasta brand Buitoni has announced a design roster for the Italian market of two consultancies: Dragon International and local group Studio Brek.

The announcement coincides with Nestlé’s launch of Buitoni Fresco, packaged fresh pasta, with pack design by Dragon International.

The range was launched on to the Italian market before Christmas and demand has already out-stripped supply, says Dragon creative director Greg Vallance. Buitoni Fresco is now being distributed nationally and there are “potential long-term European plans” for it, Vallance says.

A Buitoni range of main dish accompaniments, also designed by Dragon, was introduced in conjunction with the fresh pasta.
