Manchester United opens new gallery

The world’s richest football club Manchester United has commemorated its historic, treble-winning season with the launch of a new gallery in its Old Trafford museum. Designed by RFA, the gallery details every game played in the build-up to winning the Champion’s League Final in June 1999, along with the Football Association Cup and the Premier League. Video is interspersed with graphics and cased displays and the exhibition culminates in fullsize replicas of the three trophies. The gallery is part of a ‘six figure’ update for the museum, according to curator Mark Wylie.
