New director spearheads H&MI changes

Planet’s structural design manager Jonathan Davies has joined Holmes & Marchant International as structural packaging director.

Planet’s structural design manager Jonathan Davies has joined Holmes & Marchant International as structural packaging director.

Davies was at Planet for seven years before moving to the Holmes & Marchant packaging arm. He will spearhead H&MI’s combination of structural and graphic design for packaging.

“My role is to bring the structural work in-house and offer clients more integrated and full packaging design,” says Davies.

Planet is seeking a replacement. Meanwhile, the consultancy has appointed Elizabeth Finn, former European brands director for Schweppes Europe, as managing director.

And Holmes & Marchant has lost David Rhodes to Graphique after nine years. Rhodes has joined the 44-strong Middlesex group as packaging design director.

Graphique creative director Ray Armes says: “We are delighted that David has decided to join us – he has a wealth of experience and ideas which will make a huge difference to our clients’ businesses.”
