MPL logo for CGU is unveiled

MPL has created the logo for Commercial General Union, the insurance company formed from Commercial Union and General Accident.

Decisions on the trading names of the subsidiaries will be finalised later in the year, according to a company spokesman.

Commercial Union has 22 major offices plus 50 satellite offices. General Accident has a similar set up and 300 branches of its property company. “No decision has been made on the design of the sites,” says the spokesman.

MPL director Peter Sampson cannot comment on the logo, or whether the group will work on retail interiors.
