A couple of blaggers

The lengths some people will go to for a cheap night out at the Design Week Awards are bordering on the illicit. A couple of chancers from a northern graphics group found an ingenuous way of slashing their hotel bill. By masquerading as members of the travel industry, they blagged a hotel room at travel agents’ rates.

Said hotel needed proof of validity, so quick as a flash the pair knocked up a travel company business card. And for that extra seal of respectability the reverse of the card reads ‘Part of the AMF Group’. The initials stand for Adios Mother Fucker – a travel conglomerate the hotel receptionist may not be familiar with.
