Traces of Soul is the result of designer Fernando Medina’s study of a vast treasure of African symbols. The exhibition, from 15 March until 2 April, consists of 250 pieces painted in black ink.

Johnny Hardstaff exhibits a series of detailed graphic illustrations from the forthcoming film project Infrared until 8 April. The project is to be launched in February 2000 and subsequently via the Internet. The images reflect the nature and preoccupations of living within a cosmopolitan, urban Britain.

New York artist Randi Chalfin visits Leeds to show her latest work within local artist Adele Jackson’s debut exhibition New York Times. The work will be on display from 12-21 March from 11.30am to 1.30pm.
