I read with interest your story ‘Nesta reveals reluctance to invest in creative trades’ (DW 19 February).
From the investors’ view, design has limited assets and doesn’t put a financial value on what it does. Sounds like dotcom land… and we all know who got burnt then.
We need to take more risks and share the long-term rewards with clients rather than just taking a fee.
