London design consultancy Bite has designed the new corporate identity for national cancer charity Cancerlink.

The consultancy, which has been working on the identity since January, was appointed at the end of last year following a pitch to the charity.

Cancerlink promotes self-help for cancer patients and aims to bring sufferers together for mutual support.

Cancerlink’s new identity will be slowly applied to stationery, literature, newsletters and to the charity’s website, which Bite is still in the process of designing.

“The website will be a very important channel for Cancerlink. The idea is that it will interact with you differently depending on whether your are a health professional, a patient or a relative,” says Bite director Keith Crook.

He adds that the identity will be applied statically on-line to keep it “really simple and really clean”.
