D&AD appoints new executives

Three new appointments were made to the British Design and Art Direction executive on Monday following a nine-way election. Keren House, Howard Fletcher and Ken Hoggins will all take up their positions from the end of January at the next AGM.

They will be trustees of the charity and directors of the company, replacing outgoing president Richard Seymour, Dave Dye and Richard Phillips, who are each standing down following three-year terms. Larry Barker will take over the presidency.

D&AD chief executive David Kester says: “Another three superbly strong appointments have been made. We are lucky to have two heavyweight creative directors from both advertising and design, as well as a copywriter with a foot in both camps.”
