Smith to act on taskforce

Culture secretary Chris Smith has promised to ‘rapidly’ start implementing recommendations from the latest report by the Creative Industries Taskforce published last week.

But designers have sounded a word of caution about ‘Creative Industries – Exports: our hidden potential’ claiming it is misleading in some areas and does not address the needs of smaller consultancies.
