The Slug & Lettuce pub chain is introducing a range of Christmas and New Year promotions created by Agenda Design Associates. Produced in a postcard format, local variations of the campaign will be used to promote new pub openings in London and Bath. Others will promote new menus. The consultancy chose a ‘hot’ Mexican theme to differentiate the new offers from traditional Christmas imagery.
MarinaTex, an organic and biodegradable alternative to traditional plastic, was developed by University of Sussex student Lucy Hughes.
The visual identity combines the club’s “illustrious heritage” and “future glory” with an eye to digital platforms and more casual fans.
The week-long festival will also host speakers including interaction design expert Daljit Singh and representatives from Heatherwick Studio.
