Lazy drinkers need only raise their pint glasses

Drinkers with both an empty glass and little desire to move the required body parts to get to the bar have been saved.

Bar staff with backpacks, which can be filled with 22 pints of lager, will be waiting to fill your glass where you sit.

Mill House Inns is introducing the scheme at one of its pubs and will roll out the concept if it proves a hit. Let’s introduce the backpack at the next British Design & Art Direction’s D&AD Awards so everyone can be spared the nightmare of fighting their way through the hordes at the bar.
