Chivers Ireland is launching a range of premium jams designed by Loewy International.
The design is intended to convey a traditional look denoting quality and authenticity.
The new jams are aimed at the increasingly sophisticated Irish market and Chivers Ireland hopes it will help position its brand in the premium sector, says Loewy business development director Jonathan Kirk.
“With the purchase of one of Ireland’s major supermarket chains by Tesco, a lot of Irish suppliers are gearing up for increased competition for their own brands and their own-label products,” Kirk says.
“Many in the sector are looking to improve their profiles through better quality packaging.”
