Identica has designed a range of organic products for Italian supermarket Conad, which launch in Italy next week.
The consultancy, originally appointed to work with Conad six years ago, was briefed to develop a marque to be applied across 24 different products, including pasta, biscuits, olive oil and coffee.
Conad is aiming to meet the country’s growing demand for organic food. The square logo features a green landscape and clouds to reflect the natural and healthy element of the range, says Identica designer Melissa Smith.
“The packaging needed to convey traditional, fresh values, as well as emphasise the food’s tasty appeal, to combat the image of organic food as dietary products,” adds Smith.
Identica has designed a car and van livery for vehicle glass repair company Autoglass. Designed to present “a call to action for customers”, according to Identica designer Sharon Dowson, the livery will be applied to 2800 vehicles in eight European countries.
