Lovely Llewelyn-Bowen inspires BDG McColl

When Alliance & Leicester opened its new chain of retail outlets aimed at home improvers, designed by BDG McColl, it invited the great frock-coat-clad home improver himself, the BBC’s Home Front co-host Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, to cut the ribbon. Trying to contain their awe at coming face-to-face with the ‘interiors guru’ himself are, from left to right, BDG’s Sue Weldon, Jonathan Barker, Nicky Young, Simon Tyas, James White and Louise Branch.
