Manchester-based Glorious Creative has been appointed to brand Art07, the Art Council’s annual event for promoting arts in the North West.
Glorious will also design marketing material including programmes, exhibitor information and promotional literature, as well as merchandise.
According to Glorious managing director Scott McCubbin, the group was briefed to ‘stimulate community engagement and involvement with the arts’. Creative work, he says, is likely to play on the concept of ‘artistic licence’ and encourage interaction.
The group was appointed following a four-way pitch believed to include local groups Corporation Pop and Reform Creative.
This will be the first year that the event, which has run since 2004, will be split over two centres – Kendal on 8 June and Manchester on 17 October.
