Clamps, manholes…sounds just the ticket

Bad luck doesn’t seem to be limited to Friday 13 for friends of Design Week. In fact, things have got so bad for PR mogul Anita Sutcliffe that she has become a candidate for the title of ‘most likely to attract disaster’, currently held by rival Margaret O’Brien (after incidents involving a car-jacking and broken teeth).

At a top-level meeting with DW this week Sutcliffe gloomily appeared at the rendezvous clutching a parking ticket. Her luck then fizzled out altogether: an hour later she was wheel- clamped for not moving the car.

This misfortune follows hot on the heels of another DW-related disaster. After leaving a meeting at a Soho bar Sutcliffe managed to fall down a manhole – totally sober, of course.
